01 · Return
Find every photo point.
Distance and bearing to each station, plus the notes and marker photos left by whoever set it up. The person retaking a photo is often not the person who took the first one.
Rebar · Photo-point monitoring
Rebar is a photo-point monitoring app for restoration and conservation groups. It guides you back to each photo point, lines up the original shot, and builds the before-and-after pages funders ask for.

01 · Return
Distance and bearing to each station, plus the notes and marker photos left by whoever set it up. The person retaking a photo is often not the person who took the first one.
02 · Align
A see-through overlay of the baseline photo, with compass and tilt guides and a buzz when you’re lined up. Alignment is recorded, not required. You can always take the photo.
03 · Handoff
Coordinators send stations to volunteers as a single file. Volunteers shoot and send their photos back. No accounts, and no cell service needed in the field.
04 · Report
Side-by-side pages with the fields funders ask for: grant number, station ID, coordinates (decimal degrees or UTM), bearing, stage, and date. CSV export included.
05 · Evidence
Time, location, and bearing are recorded at capture and can’t be edited afterward. Each photo gets a SHA-256 fingerprint so anyone can confirm the file hasn’t changed since it was taken. A fingerprint proves the file is unchanged, not what it shows.
06 · Privacy
Projects, photos, and site locations stay on your devices. Nothing is uploaded, and files move only when you share them.
Return. Match. Report.
Field volunteers use Rebar free. Coordinators unlock projects, merging, and reports for $29.99, one time, with no subscription.
